Frameless Backpack<\/h2>\n

Made in Utah (United States) by ULA-Equipment<\/a>, the CDT frameless backpack is one of ULA’s lightest options. With a medium size, it has been carefully designed and tested by numerous hikers, making it the safe choice for those looking to minimize the weight of their gear.<\/p>\n

When to Use It<\/h2>\n

The CDT (Continental Divide Trail) has a total volume of 54L and is a backpack that you can use on routes from 1 to 3 days, weekends. It’s quite comfortable as long as you carry below 11kg. This means that it’s crucial to carefully measure your gear. Although it lacks a frame, the belt is firmly sewn to the backpack, ensuring a perfect fit. If you need a backpack that can handle more weight, we recommend choosing the Ohm 2.0.<\/p>\n

Design<\/h2>\n

The ULA CDT is an ultralight-style backpack with a large roll-top main compartment, a front mesh pocket for storing clothes or wet layers, spacious side pockets for water bottles, and zippered pockets on the hip belt.<\/p>\n

It also features various removable interior compartments for storing an internal hydration reservoir or personal effects. The short back length facilitates movement and reduces swaying. Additionally, it better adapts to the physiology of women than other similar backpacks.<\/p>\n

Made of Robic 400 Nylon<\/h2>\n

The Ohm 2.0 is primarily constructed with 2 fabrics based on a highly resistant and durable type of nylon 6-6<\/a> commercially known as Robic and Cordura<\/a> for areas with greater wear.<\/p>\n

Robic\u00ae is manufactured by Hyosung<\/a> and Cordura by Invista<\/a>. Compared to other nylon fabrics, Robic\u00ae is up to 50% stronger and more tear-resistant while maintaining a very light weight. Cordura is very similar but even stronger. Both have a ripstop finish (thicker thread grid) to prevent tearing.<\/p>\n
