The Revelation 850 ultralight quilt from Enlightened Equipment<\/a>, made in Minnesota (United States), is a very well-balanced option for those looking to sleep more comfortably while reducing weight compared with a conventional sleeping bag. <\/p>\n

When to use it<\/span><\/h2>\n

This model makes sense for anyone looking for a lightweight sleep system based on a sleeping pad and who prefers the freedom of a quilt over a closed sleeping bag. As it has no hood, it is advisable to have clothing or dedicated insulation for your head when conditions worsen.<\/p>\n

If it is warm, you can open it fully; if temperatures drop, close the lower section and use it in a similar way to a sleeping bag.<\/p>\n

One of the reasons Revelation is so popular is its U-shaped design, intended to help keep the down evenly distributed and prevent it from collecting at the sides and creating cold spots. <\/p><\/div>\n

Made from 10D nylon and filled with 850 cuin down<\/h2>\n

The Revelation 850 uses RDS-certified 850 cuin duck down. It is a high-quality, lightweight and compressible insulation designed to provide good warmth without significantly increasing weight or price. <\/p><\/div>\n

The outer fabric is a lightweight, breathable 10-denier ripstop nylon with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent<\/em>) treatment to help moisture bead off the fabric surface.<\/p>\n
