It works especially well when you already have a dialed-in setup and don\u2019t need to carry unnecessary items.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a solid choice on routes where the terrain chews up gear. The solid pockets hold up better to continuous use than mesh, which really shows on long traverses or off-trail. It\u2019s highly abrasion-resistant and doesn\u2019t absorb water, so it won\u2019t gain weight in rain or humidity.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not fully waterproof (the seams aren\u2019t sealed), but it protects contents well in normal conditions.
