Amicus Mountain Stove<\/h2>\n

The Amicus mountain stove is manufactured in Toyakama, Japan, by Soto Outdoors<\/a>. It is a smaller and more affordable version of the Windmaster<\/a> model but equally efficient. Designed to last and capable of slow cooking.<\/p>\n

It received the “2022 Best Buy” award from Outdoor Gear Lab.<\/a><\/p>\n

When to Use It<\/h2>\n

This mountain stove is designed for cooking or slow boiling water for 1 or 2 people, accommodating pots or pans up to 1300 ml. Not recommended for larger groups where greater stability is required.<\/p>\n

Design<\/h2>\n

It features an integrated foldable 4-arm support that provides a solid base for pots of different sizes, ensuring stability even on uneven terrain. Its assembly and disassembly are super easy and intuitive without the risk of breaking or damaging parts.<\/p>\n

The piezoelectric lighter facilitates quick ignition with a single click, even in strong winds. Its tall head acts as a windscreen, blocking winds and ensuring complete gas combustion.<\/p>\n

Performance<\/h2>\n

The fuel efficiency is remarkable, maintaining a constant calorific power of 2,600 kcal\/h, regardless of the external temperature, whether it’s 20 \u2103 or -5 \u2103. It is effective for cooking and melting snow even in cold conditions.<\/p>\n

Caution:<\/strong> Avoid directing all heat or hot air towards the butane cylinder when using a windbreak, as it could cause overheating and a possible explosion.<\/p>\n
