The Dyneema\u00ae Repair Kit, made by Hyperlite Mountain Gear<\/a>, is an adhesive kit for repairing small abrasions, cuts and punctures in Dyneema\u00ae Composite Fabrics backpacks and tents.<\/p>\n

The tape and patches are applied from the inside to cover the damage and help restore water protection.<\/p>\n

When to use it<\/h2>\n

It makes sense as repair material for Dyneema\u00ae Composite Fabrics gear that has suffered minor damage during a trip. It is particularly useful for repairing a backpack or tent without waiting for a more complete repair.<\/p>\n

It is intended for this type of laminate. It is not a solution for major damage or materials other than Dyneema\u00ae Composite Fabrics.<\/p>\n

Design<\/h2>\n

The kit includes one rectangular adhesive strip and two circular patches. The two formats allow linear cuts or small punctures to be covered with a piece suited to the shape of the damage.<\/p>\n

Application is done from inside the gear. This keeps the adhesive in contact with the inner face of the fabric while the patch covers the affected area.<\/p>\n

The adhesive tape and the two patches are designed for use on Dyneema\u00ae Composite Fabrics, the laminate used in certain backpacks and tents.<\/p>\n
