However, unlike the regular Deschutes, the Plus version comes with a mosquito net that covers the entire base. This prevents insects from entering and also protects against water splashing in.<\/p>\n<div class=\"container\"><iframe class=\"video\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/8c1Ts_2awho?rel=0\" width=\"300\" height=\"150\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Structure<\/h2>\n<p>The Deschutes Plus can be easily set up with just a trekking pole or a carbon fiber mast (not included). This allows you to vary the height and adjust to different weather conditions. Setting it up higher provides more ventilation, while lowering it increases protection against rain and wind.<\/p>\n<p>It uses 6 stakes (not included) to tension the tarp, forming a closed pyramid shelter capable of providing full protection against wind and rain. It features a single side entry, making it easy and comfortable to enter and exit. It utilizes a 30D Ripstop nylon impregnated with silicone (Silnylon). Silicone is a hydrophobic material (repels water), making the fabric highly waterproof.
