The Huckleberry

The Huckleberry, designed by Symbiosis Gear in the United States, is a versatile ultralight waist pack designed to keep your essentials close and accessible without adding unnecessary weight. Made from Extreema® fabric, highly resistant to abrasion and weather conditions, it can be used as a belt pocket, waist pack or sling bag.

With a volume of 1.3 L and a compact design, The Huckleberry keeps your items organised and within reach—phone, snacks, bars, keys or hydration kit—without taking up space inside your backpack or getting in the way as you walk.

When to use it

Ideal for day hikes, quick stops, outings without a large backpack or adventures where you want to keep the essentials with you without extra weight. The Huckleberry works equally well for short walks, travel days or getting around town.

Its versatility allows you to wear it around your waist as a waist pack, attach it to your backpack’s hip belt or wear it cross-body as a sling, adapting to your needs throughout the day.

Design

Built from ultralight, extremely durable Extreema® fabric, The Huckleberry features rounded corners for a more ergonomic and comfortable carry. The belt is removable, allowing you to use it independently or integrated into your backpack system.

The pass-through sleeve on the back allows it to be fitted to backpack hipbelts up to 2″ (50.8 mm), ensuring a stable fit while hiking. Inside, a mesh pocket organises small items, while a key clip keeps your essentials secure and accessible rather than lost at the bottom.
