Design
Zipper opening and made in several sizes. We’ve focused on sizes M and L because they have standard dimensions that work well for most maps on the market.
There are attachment points at each end in case you want to hang it around your neck. You can also secure it to your pack around the hip belt area. That will depend on the type of hip belt or waist pack you use.
Made of silnylon and clear vinyl
It uses a very thin fabric: silicone-impregnated ripstop nylon (silnylon). Silicone is a hydrophobic material (repels water), so it creates a highly waterproof fabric. It also has some stretch, like nylon itself, which makes it more resistant to pulls and tears.
For map visibility, they use a type of clear vinyl.
