The Amicus mountain stove is manufactured in Toyakama (Japan) by Soto Outdoors. It is a smaller, more affordable version of the Windmaster model, yet equally efficient. Designed to last and capable of simmering.
It received the “2022 Best Buy” award from Outdoor Gear Lab.
When to Use
This mountain stove is designed for cooking or simmering water for 1 or 2 people, with a capacity for pots or pans up to 1300 ml. Not recommended for large groups where greater stability is needed.

Design
It features an integrated 4-arm folding support, offering a solid base for pots of different sizes, ensuring stability even on uneven surfaces. Its setup and takedown are super easy and intuitive with no risk of breaking or damaging parts.
The piezoelectric igniter allows for quick ignition with a single click, even in strong winds. Its tall head acts as a windshield, blocking winds and ensuring complete gas combustion.

Performance
Fuel efficiency is remarkable, maintaining a consistent 2,600 kcal/h heat output, regardless of external temperatures, whether 20℃ or -5℃. It is effective for cooking and melting snow even in cold conditions.
Be careful! If you plan to use a windscreen, avoid channeling all the heat or hot air towards the butane canister, as this could cause overheating and a potential explosion.
