Wind Screen Windbreaker

The TOAKS Titanium Windscreen is an ultralight stove windscreen designed to improve efficiency when cooking outdoors. By shielding the flame from the wind, it helps reduce boil time and make better use of each fuel load.

When to use it

A stove can lose a lot of efficiency in windy conditions, even with a light breeze. The windscreen helps protect the flame and concentrate heat more effectively around the pot, reducing the time needed to boil water.

It is especially useful for hiking, bikepacking, and multi-day treks, where saving fuel also means carrying less weight. It can also be helpful in exposed areas, open campsites, or on routes where you often cook outside a shelter.

Design

The design consists of a flexible titanium sheet that is placed around the stove and pot to block the wind. Its format allows it to be easily adjusted to the diameter of different mugs and pots.

At the bottom it includes small ventilation holes that allow oxygen in to maintain stable combustion. It can also be trimmed with scissors if you need to adapt it more precisely to your cooking system.

Made of titanium

It is made of uncoated titanium, a very lightweight, strong material with good durability against moisture and corrosion. It is a good option for those looking for a compact and reliable cooking system for the mountains.

Because it is a very thin sheet, the edges may be sharp at first. We recommend handling it with care, especially during the first few uses or when trimming it to fit your pot.

Warning: do not fully close the windscreen around the stove. Always leave enough space for ventilation and avoid wrapping gas canisters directly, as they could overheat.
