Cumulus is a small manufacturer from Poland specializing in high-quality sleeping bags and clothing. Their Inverse 900FP down jacket, is one of their lightest models, perfect for 3-season hikes.

When to Use

The Inverse jacket performs best in temperatures above 5°C. If you need more insulation, you can always layer it with other garments to reduce the chill. However, if your routes require more insulation or you don’t tolerate cold well, we recommend the Incredilite.

Since the down jacket spends most of its time stored during warm weather hikes, the Inverse is a better choice compared to other models as it is lighter and less bulky.

Design

It features a 3 mm YKK® zipper with two self-locking sliders and two zippered pockets to keep your hands warm. Its adjustable hood with elastic cord is spacious enough to fit a helmet inside.

Additionally, it has elastic cuffs, a high collar for added protection, and a minimalist design that saves weight. Its chamber-like design ensures even heat distribution, and you can pack it into an exterior pocket taking up just 1.4 liters of space.

900 cuin Fill Power Down

They use high-quality Polish goose down filling with a fill power of 900 cuin. Additionally, this down has been treated to be hydrophobic, meaning it effectively repels water, maintaining its insulation capability even in wet conditions. More resistant.

Both the outer and inner fabrics are made with Pertex® Quantum DWR, a lightweight but durable fabric weighing 28 g/m² with a 10 denier ripstop design. It has a durable water repellent finish (DWR), providing additional protection against moisture and light rain.
