The Unbound 2 tent, made by Hyperlite Mountain Gear, is an ultralight single-wall tent for one or two people. Its design uses trekking poles as its structure, avoiding the need to carry conventional tent poles.
Ideal for multi-day routes and long-distance hikes when you are looking for a very light tent for 2 people. It is also a good option for one person who wants more room to sleep and store gear inside.
The tent is pitched using two trekking poles or 120 cm ± 5 cm poles, which are not included. Stakes are also sold separately, so you will need both to pitch it.

The structure is supported by two poles and ten reinforced tie-out points. The 3D sidewalls increase usable space at head and foot level within a raised geometry.
The two vestibules feature YKK Aquaguard #3 zips and magnetic toggles. Inside, two opposing mesh doors, two pockets and three loops organise access and gear.

The canopy combines 0.55 and 0.96 Dyneema® Composite Fabric, with taped seams to create a water-resistant shell. The inner doors use No-See-Um mesh, which limits insect entry.
