The Unbound 55 is made in Maine (USA) by Hyperlite Mountain Gear. An ultralight backpack designed for long journeys where you need to carry more gear without losing accessibility while hiking.
The big difference compared to other HMG models is its external organization: large easy-access pockets, a bottom pocket, and a layout built for hiking for hours without constantly stopping.

Design
Large side and front pockets are designed for easy access to your gear while hiking. The bottom pocket is especially handy for storing food, gloves, or light layers without taking off your pack.
The roll-top closure lets you adjust the volume to match your load, and the internal frame helps transfer weight to the hip belt, keeping good stability up to 18 kg.

Made from Dyneema Composite Hybrid
The Unbound 55 uses Dyneema Composite Hybrid (DCH) fabric, known for its high durability and for not absorbing water like more traditional fabrics.
In addition, the taped seams and waterproof fabric help keep your gear protected in sustained rainy conditions.
