Cup Ti 450ml

The lightweight Ti 450ml titanium cup is designed in the United States by Toaks Outdoor. It has the perfect capacity for heating water for most freeze-dried meals. Additionally, it comes with two large and foldable handles that allow you to safely enjoy tea, coffee, or even hot chocolate.

When to Use It

The 450ml capacity of the cup is quite useful for preparing freeze-dried meals. Why? Because it is a good measuring cup, and most freeze-dried meal bags require approximately 500ml of water.

Now, if for any reason, you wanted to use this lightweight titanium cup as a water heating base, you’ll need to purchase the D80mm lid. The reason is obvious: when covered, the steam does not escape, so the temperature rises more quickly, causing the liquids to reach boiling point faster. This way, you save fuel and time.

Design

The rounded lower edges facilitate cleaning and improve heat efficiency. The handles are large and fold for more compact and practical storage. As for the materials, like the rest of the products from the Californian brand, they are made of titanium. This ensures the absence of unwanted odors and flavors in your food and beverages.

You may not be able to store most kitchen utensils inside it (like gas canisters). But it will serve to conveniently store small kitchen utensils. A lighter, the windscreen, or the foldable cutlery like the ones we also sell from Toaks.

Made of Grade 1 and 2 Titanium

Titanium is an extremely lightweight and durable metal. It does not rust or corrode with moisture, making it highly durable. Pure titanium is not typically used commercially and is mixed with other metals to create alloys with better performance and to reduce costs. Learn more here.

To distinguish the quality of each titanium alloy, they are divided into grades regulated by an international organization called ASTM.    It does its job. As they rightly say, this cup works very well for boiling water for a meal, coffee, or tea. It will not hold enough water to cook for two.

   Great cup for anyone looking to reduce the weight of their backpack. It can be placed directly on a fire or stove without concern about deformation. This cup works well for a minimalist solo setup.

   This model does not come with a lid, which is its only drawback. Other than that, it is very lightweight, durable, and perfect for heating water for one person.
