Drawstring Stuff Sacks

The Drawstring storage sacks are made in Maine (United States) by Hyperlite Mountain Gear. It’s an essential ultralight piece that helps keep things organized.

When to Use

Storing all your gear in waterproof storage sacks has its advantages. First, everything stays well-packed. It’s easy to open and place anything inside. Second, being waterproof, the contents you store won’t get wet, and you don’t need a backpack cover on stormy days 🙂

Design

There’s little to explain in terms of design. But where the real difference lies is in the material used. These storage sacks are made with DCF. They don’t have seams through which water can leak, and the fabric doesn’t absorb water.
Moreover, they are impressively lightweight and durable, so they can be used for much longer.

Made from Dyneema Composite Fabrics

Constructed with DCF8 (Dyneema Composite Fabric), commonly known as Cuben fiber, it’s a fabric that’s highly water-resistant and very durable.
Dyneema is a high-performance material made from ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) fibers. It’s a fabric with high tensile strength, non-stretchable, water-resistant, and resistant to UV and chemicals.
