The large ultralight backpack Circuit is manufactured in Utah (United States) by ULA-Equipment, and it’s the favorite choice among hikers covering long distances. Despite its design barely changing over the last 7 years, it remains highly popular, and the improvements introduced this year make it even better.

When to use it
The Circuit is a 68-liter backpack designed for multi-day or week-long trips. It’s perfect for hikers seeking a spacious yet lightweight backpack. With the capacity for a large amount of gear, it’s one of the most voluminous ultralight backpacks available.
It offers comfortable and stable carrying when properly adjusted, and the base weight of the equipment is kept below 16 kilograms. Its structure includes an aluminum hoop and central frame to provide structural support and stability, effectively distributing the load for comfortable transportation.

Design
The backpack has a standard design with a rear mesh pocket for storing wet layers, as well as side pockets with elastic made of durable fabric to secure taller bottles and side compression straps. The roll-top lid offers storage versatility, while the foam back provides comfort.
As for the 2024 improvements, the front pocket has been replaced with a more durable UltraStretch™ mesh pocket. Additionally, loops for ice axes and trekking poles have been added, along with low-profile loops for additional straps.

Made of Robic 400 Nylon
The backpack is primarily made with 400 denier Robic fabric, known for its high tear and abrasion resistance, reinforced with ripstop for increased durability. Additionally, it features a DWR treatment and a PU coating that make it highly water-resistant.
For the mesh, a new fabric called UltraStretch, composed of nylon and Lycra, has been used, with a DWR treatment to provide superior performance and durability compared to previous versions.
