Bottle holder on the backpack shoulder strap, designed to access water while hiking without taking off your pack. Available in 700 ml and 1 L with specific bottle compatibility.
The ULA Flow, made by ULA Equipment in Utah (USA), is a shoulder-strap bottle holder that keeps your water accessible while hiking.
It’s designed for hikers who prefer a bottle over a hydration bladder and want to drink without stopping or taking off their pack, keeping the bottle stable on the shoulder strap.
It’s a good fit for trips where you drink often and want direct access to a SmartWater/LifeWater-style bottle or compatible CNOC bottles depending on the size chosen (700 ml or 1 L).
It makes the most sense on packs with shoulder straps where you can securely attach the hooks; if your fit or the strap shape places the lower attachment too close to your arm or chest, it may not sit stable.
The body is made from open nylon mesh, which reduces water retention and provides some flexibility when inserting and removing the bottle. The top retention is adjusted with an elastic cord and a cord lock for one-handed open/close.
The attachment uses 3/4″ Duraflex Gatekeeper G Hooks with adjustable positioning along the holder, to match different shoulder-strap attachment points. It includes a top loop that can also be used as an attachment point on the hipbelt to carry a soda or other accessories.
