The ultralight sleeping bag Revelation 850 cuin is manufactured in Minnesota (United States) by Enlightened Equipment. It has been their best-selling model since its launch in 2007. A high-quality, lightweight, and versatile UL piece that you can use as a blanket or fully wrapped around yourself.

When to use it
An ultralight quilt-style sleeping bag is a more comfortable and lighter alternative to carrying a conventional sleeping bag. The difference lies in its open-back design with no hood. This allows for a significant reduction in weight and volume, and above all, you won’t feel trapped. It’s extremely easy to get in and out of 🙂
Use it for 3 seasons with an inflatable mattress for luxury comfort. As for your head, do you really need a hood? And if you truly need it, couldn’t you simply wear a lightweight wool hat or a balaclava?

Design
One of the secrets behind the popularity of the Revelation is its U-shaped design, which prevents the down insulation from shifting and creating cold spots along the sides.
At the foot area, it has a zipper, snaps, and a drawstring closure to retain heat on chilly nights. If you use an inflatable mattress, which would be ideal, it comes with 2 elastic straps to secure it. If it’s warm, open it up completely, but if temperatures drop, close the foot area and use it just like a sleeping bag 🙂

Made of 10D Nylon and 850 cuin insulation
To keep the weight so low, they use the best duck down insulation available. With a fill power of 850 cuin, it guarantees a warm rest. Moreover, it comes with all the guarantees of animal welfare and absence of harmful substances (RDS certified). Which is much appreciated.
For the fabric, they use a very lightweight and breathable 10-denier ripstop nylon with a DWR treatment (Durable Water Repellent). It’s a coating applied to the outer part of the fabric to make water slide off.
