Ultralight Windscreen for Stoves

Vesuv Outdoor, based in Pardubice, Czech Republic, is a new artisanal manufacturer that designs ultralight windscreens for stoves. This system helps reduce boiling time and improves the efficiency of your stove, saving you fuel (and its weight value).

When to use it

In exposed terrains where there are no natural barriers, the wind can easily extinguish your stove’s flame. This can make something as simple as boiling water take forever. In these cases, having a windscreen makes sense.

First, because it blocks the wind, and second, because it retains the heat inside, which helps boil water more efficiently, saving you time and fuel. And Vesuv Outdoor does this very well.

Designed for Evernew Pots

There’s only one way to be unsatisfied with this product, and that is if it doesn’t fit your pot’s size. This ultralight windscreen for stoves is designed to fit perfectly with the 0.9-liter pot from Evernew, which is also available here.

Its assembly is very simple. Once unrolled, it has 2 holes where 2 rivets fit perfectly. Then, you just put the stove inside, light it, and place the pot on top. Everything fits perfectly.

Made of Grade 2 Titanium / 0.1mm

Titanium is an extremely lightweight and durable metal that doesn’t rust or corrode with moisture, making it highly durable. Pure titanium is not commonly used commercially; it’s mixed with other materials to achieve certain performance characteristics and to reduce costs. I explain more here.

To differentiate the quality of each titanium alloy, they are divided into Grades, regulated by an international organization called ASTM. Vesuv Outdoor uses a Grade 2 titanium alloy, with a thickness of only 0.1mm, considered the purest commercially available titanium with over 99% purity.
