Long-Distance Backpack
The OHM long-distance backpack is manufactured in Utah (United States) by ULA-Equipment and is a good choice if you’re halfway to ultralight.
When to Use It
The ULA Ohm 2.0 is an ultralight, high-volume backpack (63L) that can be used on multi-day or week-long routes. It’s ideal for hikers who are reducing the weight of their gear but still prefer a backpack with a bit more capacity.
When properly adjusted, it provides comfortable and stable carrying, as long as you keep the base weight of your gear below 13.6 kg.

Design
The backpack features a plastic and carbon frame in a “U” shape designed to transfer weight to the hips. Additionally, it’s relatively easy to remove if you prefer to use the backpack without the frame to reduce weight.
The shoulder straps and lumbar belt are softly padded for comfort. The adjustable compression system is based on cords on both sides of the backpack, allowing you to reduce its size and ensure a secure fit when carrying less gear. It also offers the ability to attach trekking poles, an umbrella, water bottles, and even a tent.

Made of Robic 400 Nylon
The Ohm is primarily constructed with two fabrics based on a very durable and long-lasting type of nylon 6-6 commercially called Robic.
Robic® is manufactured by Hyosung and Cordura by Invista. Compared to other nylon fabrics, Robic® is up to 50% stronger and more tear-resistant while remaining lightweight. Cordura is very similar but even stronger. Both have a ripstop finish (thicker thread grid) to prevent tears. It will withstand many battles 🙂

Oscar
Tenía dos mochilas antes de esta y OHM es la más cómoda. Bolsillos enormes en la cadera y en los laterales. Era lo que buscaba. Después de probarla en varias salidas en invierno estoy muy contento con ella.
