Rain Cover
The waterproof rain cover Pack Covers is designed in Utah (United States) by ULA-Equipment and is specially designed to protect your backpack from torrential rain and muddy ground.
When to use it
The most common and economical option to protect your gear from the rain is to use a waterproof rain cover.
Another thing to be clear about. If you attach a bulky tent or strap the sleeping mat to the outside of the backpack, it may not fit well.

Design
Its design is very simple. It has a cord that fits tightly around the backpack. You will also find a clip to attach it to the shoulder straps.
The ULA Pack Covers easily slides over the top and then quickly attaches to the belt with a D-ring and two Velcro connectors that converge at the lower back.
Made of Silnylon Ripstop
Silnylon is a nylon fabric impregnated with silicone. Silicone is a hydrophobic material (repels water) so it achieves waterproofing. It also has some elasticity, just like nylon itself, which makes it more resistant to pulls and tears.
Additionally, it has a ripstop finish, an additional reinforcement to the fabric that makes it more resistant to breakage and tearing. Technically, it’s two intertwined threads at regular intervals forming a grid.
