Backpack cover
The waterproof backpack cover is designed in Utah (United States) by ULA-Equipment and is specially designed to protect your backpack from torrential rain and muddy ground.
When to use it
The most common and economical option for protecting your gear from rain is to use a waterproof backpack cover. It provides 100% protection, and the only important thing to consider is that it has the right size to fit your backpack’s maximum capacity.
One thing to keep in mind is that if you attach a bulky tent or grab the sleeping pad to the exterior of the backpack, the cover may not fit well.

Design
Its design is very simple. It has a drawstring that snugly adjusts around the backpack. You will also find a clip to attach it to the shoulder straps.
The ULA Pack Covers easily slide over the top and then quickly cinch down onto the belt with a D-ring and two velcro connectors that converge at the lower back.
Made of Silnylon Ripstop
Silnylon is a nylon fabric impregnated with silicone. Silicone is a hydrophobic material (repels water), making it waterproof. It also has some elasticity, like nylon itself, which makes it more resistant to pulls and tears.
Additionally, it has a ripstop finish, which provides additional reinforcement to the fabric, making it more resistant to tearing. Technically, it consists of two interwoven threads at regular intervals, forming a grid.
